1. Actor Information Receiver

The Actor Information Receiver sensor provides a fast, simple and generic detection solution which is not tied up to a specific technology.
The AIR sensor can be used for scenarios in which a simple sensor is needed. Typical application examples include tuning controllers (like for ACC) and decision algorithm testing.

2. Detection type

Refer to the picture for an overview of the different detection types:

·BBox: measures distance to the object’s bounding box

·Center: meaures distance to the center of the object’s bounding box

·CoG: meaures distance to the object’s center of gravity (CoG)
