- Significant performance improvements for PAE and AMD64 guests (VT-x and AMD-V only; normal (non-nested) paging)
- Experimental support for EFI (Extended Firmware Interface)
- VirtIO network device support
VirtualBox 3.1.0 Beta 1存在的问题：
- Snapshots of VMs with multiple attached disk images is broken. Please do not use snapshots with such VMs
- Snapshots of VMs with empty DVD attachments is broken
- Snapshots with immutable images not expected to work correctly
