两件事。您的validates_single_email_format 方法不仅需要返回false，还必须调用errors.add(:email, "Email is in wrong format!") 才能产生效果。

valid? 方法不只是运行验证，它还将错误消息添加到 errors 并且 errors 最终为空，则认为模型有效。

无论如何，你可以使用：

validates_format_of :email, with: VALID_EMAIL_REGEX
