使用st_point，而不是point 作为类型：

add_column :monuments, :grid_ref, :st_point, geographic: true

Postgresql 添加了point 类型，所以postgis 适配器中的类型名称改为st_point。

找到了解决办法。必须指定SRID，geographic_factory现在是spherical_factory，点是在指定SRID的球形工厂上调用的方法。
