客户端应用程序无法在服务器上创建区域，这是一项应由具有管理员权限的操作员通过gfsh、单独的cache.xml 配置文件或cluster configuration service 执行的任务。允许客户端任意创建区域可能会适得其反，并在您的集群上产生大量未使用的区域以及不必要的噪音和开销，完全不建议将其用于生产环境。

也就是说，Spring Data for Apache Geode/GemFire 允许您自动从客户端应用程序push your configuration to the Cluster，这在开发环境中很有用。不知道Pivotal Cloud Cache内部政策和限制是否允许这样做，您可以直接咨询Pivotal。
