If our web site hosted on web server canot be accessed by other computer by public network, one of the possiblity is the firewall setting is not configured correctly. Below I will show you:
Check the firewall setting of your windows7 which is as web server you can find below:
For my network, I use the shared router to access internet, so we should update the publich profile's setting:
- Inbound connection is for outer public computer try to access my web server, if it is blocked, the web site hosted in this web server cannot be accessed
- Outbound connection is for my web server to access outer public network, if I block it, I cannot access any public web site like baidu.com
So after I do below change for the firewall profile, now it works:
